Pintu launched Web3 Wallet as an experiment to help more people explore the on-chain world. Over the past year, we&rsquo;ve learned a lot about how users interact with Web3. The ecosystem is evolving quickly, with many dApps now embedding their own native wallets. Rather than duplicating what&rsquo;s already available, we&rsquo;re choosing to sunset Web3 Wallet so we can bring fresh innovations that make crypto even simpler, safer, and more useful for everyone.

Why is Pintu sunsetting the Web3 Wallet?

What is the timeline?

You can take the following steps:

<li>Transfer your assets from Pintu Web3 to the Pintu App. Make sure the tokens you want to transfer are supported on Pintu by checking directly in the app. </li>



<li>For assets on unsupported networks (such as Zksync, Linea, Mantle), perform a cross-chain swap to a network supported by Pintu before transferring them to the Pintu App. </li>



<li>You can transfer tokens from Pintu Web3 to another Web3 Wallet. Make sure that the wallet supports the tokens you want to move. </li>



<li>Withdraw assets from staking, DeFi, or similar services, then transfer them to the Pintu App or another Web3 Wallet. Ensure the tokens are supported on Pintu or the destination wallet. </li>



<li>Transfer your NFTs from Pintu Web3 to another Web3 Wallet. Make sure the wallet supports the NFT network you want to move.</li>

What should I do with my assets?

Yes. Spot Trading, Earn, and Perps are&nbsp;not affected&nbsp;by this change. Only Web3 Wallet is being sunset.

Can I still trade on Pintu?

The only cost is the standard&nbsp;on-chain gas fee, depending on the network. If any additional fees apply, they will be shown clearly before you confirm the transfer.

Will there be fees when moving assets?

NFTs can be transferred to any compatible self-custody wallet on the same network. Read the steps on how to transfer your NFT assets <a href="https://pintu.co.id/blog/tutorial-mengirimkan-aset-dari-pintu-web3" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">in this article</a>.

What about my NFTs?

We strongly encourage moving assets before the final date. Multiple reminders will be sent. After decommission, access to assets may no longer be possible via Pintu.

What happens if I don’t move my assets before the deadline?

Yes. All user assets remain safe. Users will have clear guidance to transfer their tokens and NFTs out of Web3 Wallet before the final sunset date, which <a href="https://pintu.co.id/blog/tutorial-mengirimkan-aset-dari-pintu-web3" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">you can read in this article</a>.

Is my money safe?

After the service is closed on 30 November 2025, your assets in Pintu Web3 will no longer be accessible to anyone. We strongly advise you to be cautious and avoid sending any assets to Pintu Web3.

What happens if I accidentally send my asset to Pintu Web3 Address after decommission?

Not negatively. In fact, this decision allows us to sharpen our focus on high-impact products and continue innovating. Pintu remains committed to making crypto simple, trusted, and accessible for everyone in Indonesia.

Does this affect Pintu’s future plans?

The export private key feature is available for wallets on EVM networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Mantle, Linea, and Zksync). Can I export my private key or seed phrase?

In Web3 transactions, there is a gas fee mechanism that must be paid for each transaction. Make sure you have enough balance to cover the gas fee.

What if there is a small remaining balance that cannot be transferred out?
