Bitwise Just Dropped a Bombshell XRP Forecast — Here’s What Could Happen to Prices by 2025 to 2030!

Jakarta, Pintu News – $12 billion asset manager Bitwise has just released a comprehensive report on the potential price of Ripple (XRP) from 2025 to 2030.

Using a Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM)-based approach and taking into account macroeconomic factors and regulatory risks, Bitwise developed three main scenarios: Bear Case, Bull Case, and Max Case.

Amidst XRP’s increasing role in asset tokenization and cross-border payments, Bitwise said that if all goes according to projections, the price of XRP could reach USD $30 or around Rp482,000. This prediction shook the crypto community and caught the attention of global investors.

Max Case Scenario: Toward IDR 482,000 in 2030

In the most optimistic scenario, Bitwise predicts that the price of XRP will experience tremendous growth as the adoption of asset tokenization technology increases.

The predicted price of XRP in this scenario starts at $4.48 (IDR71,923) at the end of 2025, then rises to $6.53 (IDR104,779) in 2026, and $9.60 (IDR154,253) in 2027. The increase continues to $13.84 (IDR222,435) in 2028, $20.14 (IDR323,641) in 2029, until it reaches $29.32 (IDR471,459) or close to IDR482,000 in 2030.

This growth is driven by the assumption that XRP will take a 1-2% market share of the global tokenization industry which is projected to be worth over $10 trillion.

Furthermore, the model also considers the effect of token burning from on-chain activities that could reduce supply, as well as the increasing dominance of XRP over Bitcoin with a projected annualized return of up to 46%.

Bull Case Scenario: Stable Growth to IDR 204,000

In the moderate growth scenario or Bull Case, Bitwise projects that XRP will still grow at a healthy pace thanks to steady adoption and increased institutional partnerships.

The price of XRP is expected to hit $3.90 (IDR62,607) in 2025, then rise to $4.94 (IDR79,270) in 2026, and $6.25 (IDR100,425) in 2027. In 2028, the price continues to $7.91 (IDR127,164), $10.02 (IDR161,034) in 2029, and reaches $12.68 (IDR203,780) in 2030.

This growth is more conservative, but still reflects confidence in the XRP Ledger (XRPL) to support stablecoins and cross-border transactions, with an estimated annualized return of around 27%.

Bear Case Scenario: Downside Risk to IDR2,100

Meanwhile, in the most pessimistic Bear Case scenario, Bitwise assesses that XRP could experience a sharp decline if it fails to compete in the tokenization market and is unable to attract the participation of financial institutions.

The projections start at $1.82 (IDR 29,938) in 2025, and gradually decrease to just $0.13 (IDR 2,088) in 2030. In this state, lack of on-chain activity and competition from other faster and cheaper networks are the main causes.

With XRP’s high historical volatility, the annualized return in this scenario is predicted to be negative, at around -59%.

Overall, Bitwise’s predictions paint a very mixed picture for the future of XRP-from an optimistic scenario of Rp482k, to a pessimistic scenario of Rp2k.
