Jakarta, Pintu News – Fartcoin has just unseated Bonk to become the second largest Solana meme coin by market capitalization, after experiencing a 15% gain that pushed its market capitalization past the $1 billion mark.

In the past 24 hours, Fartcoin has surged over 15%, breaking through the $1 psychological resistance and trading at $1.06 currently. This rise has lifted Fartcoin’s market capitalization past $1 billion, surpassing Bonk which currently stands at around $980 million.

Fartcoin has shown impressive performance by breaking out of the $0.40 – $0.55 consolidation range that occurred from March 29 to April 9. On April 9, Fartcoin recorded a significant surge in volume, pushing the price to a daily peak of $0.78.

This momentum continued with the price reaching $0.97 on April 11 before experiencing a slight pullback and entering a brief consolidation phase. After the consolidation phase, Fartcoin’s price trend picked up again, breaking the previous record high and successfully crossing the $1 mark.

Currently, the trend is very bullish with Fartcoin trading well above its 20-day EMA and 50-day SMA. If this momentum continues, the next price target is around $1.20-$1.25. However, the RSI is close to 70, which may signal an impending price drawdown.

Bonk’s price moving average shows a bullish setup, and the price is consolidating at the top of the range, which could be a setup before a breakout if volume increases.

However, the recent volume is still much lower compared to the spike in March, suggesting that this breakout attempt still lacks conviction – a potential sign of continued range behavior or slow price gains.

A clean daily close above this range on increased volume would confirm a breakout, with the next price target at around $0.000015, where price has already been rejected twice – in early and late March.
