FIFA Collect Infrastructure Upgrade

The migration to FIFA Blockchain aims to improve the platform’s performance, scalability, and future innovations. FIFA Collect users will still be able to access their digital assets after the migration by simply logging into their accounts.

FIFA promises that this transition will not disrupt existing digital asset holdings. After the migration, it is expected that new features will be added and wallet compatibility improved. FIFA has emphasized that no action is required from users at this time.

However, users who have previously exported their collections will need to re-import them before May 20 to ensure they are included in the migration process.

During the migration process, the FIFA Collect service will be unavailable for approximately 12 hours. Algorand based wallets, such as Pera and Defly, will no longer be supported after the migration. Instead, users can use MetaMask or EVM-compatible wallets via WalletConnect.

All collectibles currently listed for sale will remain listed on the new platform unless manually removed before the cutoff date. FIFA guarantees that this migration will not financially burden users as the process is free.
