Encryption is a security method that changes information into code that hides its true meaning. It is the process of changing electronic information into a secret code consisting of alphanumerics. Cryptography is the science of encrypting as well as decrypting information.

For example, encrypting the word “Cryptocurrency” will change it into an alphanumeric code of SHSF#R&#244243. To reverse the data, you need a specific computer language. Encryption is useful for scrambling data and hides sensitive information.

The most highly secured encryption method will use complex keys that a third party will be unlikely to decrypt or break the code. In cryptocurrencies, it is useful in hashing a blockchain and securing a private key
