How to access dApp using Pintu

A decentralized application (dApp) is an application that runs on a blockchain network and uses smart contracts to store all application programming. To connect with a dApp, you need a web3 wallet, such as Pintu Web3 Wallet.

Pintu Web3 Wallet uses WalletConnect to securely connect to dApps.

Connecting your dApp to the Pintu Web3 Wallet is straightforward and can be done through two convenient methods: scanning the QR code and copying the dApp URL.

Connecting the dApp to Pintu Web3 Wallet via QR code:

1. Visit the dApp platform you want to use on your laptop or mobile browser, for example, Pancakeswap, then click ‘Connect Wallet.’
2. Select ‘WalletConnect’ to view the QR code.
3. On the Pintu app, select ‘Web3’.
4. Click ‘WalletConnect’.
5. Scan the WalletConnect QR code.
6. Once you have scanned the QR Code, click ‘Connect’ to connect Web3 wallet Pintu to the dApp platform.
7. Confirm with FaceID or input PIN.
8. Success! You have successfully connected to the dApp.

Connecting the dApp to Pintu Web3 Wallet by copying the dApp URL:

1. Visit the dApp platform you want to use on a mobile browser, for example, Pancakeswap, then click ‘Connect Wallet.’
2. Select ‘WalletConnect.’
3. Several wallets will then appear. Click the QR code icon on the top right.
4. Copy the dApp URL by clicking the copy icon on the top right of the screen after the QR code pops up.
5. On the Pintu app, select ‘Web3’ and then click ‘WalletConnect.’
6. Once connected to the WalletConnect camera, paste the URL on the top right of the screen.
7. Click ‘Connect’ to establish the connection between Pintu Web3 Wallet and the dApp platform.
8. Confirm the connection with FaceID or input PIN.
9. Success! You have successfully connected to the dApp.
