Mark price is a reference price used for perpetual futures profit and loss valuation as well as risk management. The mark price is calculated from a weighted average of index prices from global crypto exchanges adjusted for funding.
Liquidation price is the price point at which the exchange will liquidate a trader’s position to prevent further losses. Before reaching the liquidation price, the exchange will give a warning through a margin call so that traders can close their positions manually or deposit additional funds.
