Jakarta, Pintu News – Reporting from BeInCrypto, ahead of the Halloween celebration, historical data from 2020 to 2024 shows that Aave , Ethereum , and Dogecoin often experience price rallies in the first week after October 31.

While daily movements on Halloween itself tend to vary, all three cryptocurrencies have consistently posted gains in the first weekend of November in every year analyzed. This pattern indicates a recurring short-term rebound trend, which traders may recognize as an opportunity amid the late October volatility.

AAVE: Consistent Momentum After Halloween

AAVE shows the most consistent strength post-Halloween. In the period 2020 to 2024, AAVE always registered gains during the first week after Halloween, with particularly strong rallies occurring in 2020 and 2023.

Over these five years, the AAVE experienced an average increase of 11.8% in the seven days following October 31. These rises often followed a brief dip in late October, suggesting a cyclical short-term accumulation pattern.

Ethereum: Moderate but Consistent Rise

Ethereum’s performance around the Halloween period tends to be stable although not very aggressive. From 2020 to 2024, ETH has always recorded a positive return for seven days after Halloween, with an average increase of around +4.5%.

Ethereum typically enters November with renewed buying interest. In four of the last five years, ETH has experienced a mild pullback on Halloween which has then been followed by a short-term rally – often in line with the overall market recovery.

Dogecoin: Most Volatile Halloween Performance

Dogecoin showed the most dramatic movement during the Halloween period. The average increase after Halloween was 5.6%, but the volatility was much higher than AAVE or ETH.

The year 2022 was in the spotlight, as DOGE jumped almost 95% in the week leading up to Halloween, triggered by Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter.

Despite being highly volatile, DOGE has posted net gains in the week after Halloween in three of the last five years.

Pattern or Coincidence?

From 2020 to 2024, all three altcoins – AAVE, ETH, and DOGE – consistently recorded positive average returns in the week after Halloween.

Market-wise, this period often coincides with increased liquidity, month-end repositioning and post-quarter trading flows.

While past performance is no guarantee of future results, historical data shows that price weakness in late October is often followed by a short-term surge of strength – especially in altcoins like AAVE, ETH, and DOGE.
