How to Trade & Manage Positions

How do I access Futures on Pintu Pro?

Go to the Pintu Pro home screen, then select the Futures tab.

Before accessing the Futures feature, you need to complete KYC verification first. Once KYC is successful, you can access the Futures feature right away.

How do I open a position on Pintu Futures?

  1. Go to the Market page on Pintu Pro.
  2. Select the Futures tab to see the available crypto pairs.
  3. Click a pair directly, or search using the search field.
  4. On the trade page, choose Market Order (use current market price) or Limit Order (if you already have a specific target price).
  5. Enter the purchase amount, then tap Buy/Long (if you believe the price will rise) or Sell/Short (if you believe the price will fall).
  6. Tap Confirm to execute the transaction.

If you use Market Order, the position opens immediately and appears under the Positions tab. If you use Limit Order, it stays under the Open Order tab until the target price is reached.

Why can’t I open a new position or place a new order?

Because you don’t have enough available margin.

To open a new position/order, add margin first via transfer, or cancel your existing open order.

Can I close all positions at once on Pintu Futures?

No. You need to close positions one at a time.

Why are the Pintu Pro Spot and Pintu Futures wallets separated?

There are 2 reasons:

1. Different risk profiles
Spot trading exchanges assets instantly, while futures trading involves contracts with future settlement and leverage. Leverage can amplify both gains and losses, making it riskier. Separate wallets help Pintu isolate the risk of each trading type.

2. Margin requirements
Futures trading requires margin (collateral), while spot trading doesn’t. Separate wallets ensure futures margin requirements run independently, preventing fund mixing and potential margin calls affecting your spot wallet holdings.
