How do I place a limit order on the Pintu app?
- Go to the Market menu, select the asset you want to buy/sell.
- Tap Buy to place a buy limit order, or Sell for a sell limit order.
- Select the order type via the button in the top right corner, then choose Limit.
- Enter your target price and the amount to buy/sell.
- Confirm your limit order.
How do I cancel a limit order?
You can cancel a limit order from the Wallet or Market page.
From the Wallet page:
- Select the Rupiah asset, then tap the Order tab.
- Select the order you want to cancel.
- On the Order Detail page, tap Cancel Order.
From the Market page:
- Go to Market, select the asset with the limit order you want to cancel.
- Tap the Order tab, then tap Open Order.
- Select the order, then tap Cancel Order on the Order Detail page.
How do I check my open order status?
From the Wallet page:
- On the main Wallet page, tap All Orders.
- Unexecuted orders appear under Open Order; executed ones appear under Order History.
From the Market page: select the asset, tap the Order tab, and check the status there.
Is there an expiration time for open orders?
No. As long as your order isn’t executed or canceled, its open order status stays active.
Why hasn’t my limit order been executed?
Common reasons include:
- The asset’s final buy/sell price hasn’t reached your target price.
- The market is volatile, causing prices to move too quickly.
- The market isn’t liquid enough, so large orders may not yet be executable.
Why does Pintu’s Limit Order feature have a limit for buying and selling?
Pintu applies a limit of Rp250 million or 50% of your total AUM per asset.
This protects you from significant loss risk if the market moves against you, while also maintaining market stability.
How many tokens are available for Limit Order?
Limit order is now available for all assets on Pintu.
