Before accessing the Futures feature, you need to complete KYC verification first. Once KYC is successful, you can access the Futures feature right away.
If you use Market Order, the position opens immediately and appears under the Positions tab. If you use Limit Order, it stays under the Open Order tab until the target price is reached.

Spot trading exchanges assets instantly, while futures trading involves contracts with future settlement and leverage. Leverage can amplify both gains and losses, making it riskier. Separate wallets help Pintu isolate the risk of each trading type.
2. Margin requirements
Futures trading requires margin (collateral), while spot trading doesn’t. Separate wallets ensure futures margin requirements run independently, preventing fund mixing and potential margin calls affecting your spot wallet holdings.
