Alongside the crypto tourism push, Thailand is also in the midst of reviewing old laws that separate traditional capital markets from digital assets.

To strengthen law enforcement and maintain market fairness, a bill is being prepared to expand the powers of the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (Thai SEC), so that it can take major cases directly to prosecutors.
