Jakarta, Pintu News – Recently, news broke in the crypto world that an artificial intelligence (AI)-based tool had successfully cracked Bitcoin’s (BTC) private keys.
This issue surfaced after several long-dormant Bitcoin wallets suddenly moved billions of US dollars worth of BTC. A total of 70,000 BTC, worth about $7.6 billion, was moved by wallets that had been dormant for more than 14 years.

The news started with a tweet by Crypto influencer Bitlord7 stating that advanced AI technology was targeting large addresses to crack Bitcoin’s (BTC) private keys. This statement immediately caught the attention of crypto traders and analysts. According to previous reports, each such wallet moved exactly 10,000 BTC to a new address that had never been used before.
These wallets date back to April and May 2011, when the Bitcoin (BTC) price was still below $1. One of the wallets, with the starting address “12tLs9c9…,” first received 10,000 BTC when the Bitcoin (BTC) price was only $0.78. At current prices, those coins are worth more than $1 billion each.

Despite the widespread speculation, experts have vehemently denied the possibility of AI being able to break into Bitcoin’s (BTC) private keys. Mihailo Bjelic, co-founder of Polygon, responded to the rumor by stating that there is no way that AI can break into Bitcoin’s (BTC) private keys, calling it a nonsensical fake news.
Analysis of blockchain activity also showed that there was no indication of a hack. Analysts noted that the transfer appeared to be manual, not automated. The coins were not sent to an exchange, which usually happens if there is a hacking attempt to sell the asset immediately.

Some other users speculated that someone might have managed to gain access to old wallet files or purchase existing credentials. However, there is no concrete evidence to support this theory. Wallets like “1KbrSKr…,” “1P1iThx…,” and a few others are known as OG addresses, which means they are most likely owned by early adopters of Bitcoin (BTC), not by hackers.
This major movement in Bitcoin (BTC) wallets is nothing new. Earlier this year, more than 62,800 BTC that had been untouched for over seven years were also moved. Although this latest transfer is larger, there is no solid evidence to suggest hacking or AI involvement. Four of the eight wallets still remain inactive.
While there are many speculations and theories floating around, there is no evidence to support the claim that an AI has cracked Bitcoin’s (BTC) private keys. The owners of the wallets are still unknown, and so far, there are no signs of foul play. This shows the importance of keeping information and credentials secure in this uncertain crypto world.
