Jakarta, Pintu News – Forbes has released another list of the world’s richest people, which always attracts the attention of the public and global market players.
This list not only shows the amount of their wealth, but also reflects changes in wealth value that can be affected by stock movements, technology investments, and global market fluctuations.
The following are the top 10 richest people in the world in 2025, based on the latest data released by Forbes.

Elon Musk is back on top as the richest person in the world. With a fortune of $412.1 billion (about Rp6.76 quadrillion), his wealth increased by $4.7 billion or about 1.14% on July 18, 2025.

The founder of Tesla and SpaceX continues to lead thanks to positive stock performance and the expansion of his business into various sectors, including electric vehicles, space, and artificial intelligence.
In second place is Larry Ellison, founder of software giant Oracle. Although his total wealth is still very large at $291.1 billion (around Rp4.78 quadrillion), Ellison’s wealth was recorded to have decreased by $3.6 billion or around -1.23% on July 18, 2025.
This decline can be attributed to the performance of tech stocks which are undergoing market consolidation.

Facebook founder and CEO of Meta Platforms, Mark Zuckerberg, came in third place with a fortune of $240.7 billion (approximately Rp3.95 quadrillion).
Mark’s wealth decreased by $1.4 billion or approximately -0.58% in July 2025. Despite this, Zuckerberg remains a dominant player in the tech world with a focus on the metaverse and generative AI development.
Former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is ranked fourth with a total wealth of $236.8 billion (approximately Rp3.89 quadrillion). His wealth decreased slightly by $360 million or -0.15% on July 18, 2025.
Although he no longer leads the company directly, Bezos still holds a large stake in Amazon and is active in the space sector through Blue Origin.

Google founder Larry Page takes the fifth spot with a total wealth of $152.3 billion (around Rp2.5 quadrillion). His wealth rose by $768 million or 0.51%, thanks to the continued strong performance of Alphabet (Google’s parent) shares.
At 52 years old, Larry is still a central figure in the development of search technology, artificial intelligence, and other experimental Google projects.

Nonetheless, Huang remains an important figure in the AI and semiconductor era, especially after the boom in GPUs for generative artificial intelligence that saw NVIDIA shares skyrocket in recent years.
Larry Page’s partner in founding Google, Sergey Brin, is in seventh place with a fortune of $145.5 billion (around Rp2.39 quadrillion). In the last 24 hours (July 18), his wealth increased by $719 million or about 0.50%.
Although he is no longer operationally active at Google, his contributions to technology development remain substantial, and he continues to manage his investments through various technology and philanthropic projects.
In eighth place is a name from the world of the luxury industry: Bernard Arnault & family, owners of luxury retail group LVMH, which houses top brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Moët & Chandon.
His current total wealth is $145.0 billion, a decrease of $1 billion or -0.70%. At 76 years old, Arnault remains the king of the fashion and luxury goods industry, and is the only non-tech billionaire in the top 8 of this list.
Former Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, occupies the ninth position with a total wealth of $143.4 billion (around Rp2.35 quadrillion). Although his wealth recorded a decrease of $459 million or around -0.32%, Ballmer remains one of the most powerful figures in the world of technology.

Closing out the top 10 list is the legendary Warren Buffett of the investment world. At the age of 94, the “Oracle of Omaha” still shows incredible resilience with a fortune of $142.7 billion (around Rp2.34 quadrillion).
In fact, his wealth actually increased by $898 million or about 0.63% in the last 24 hours. Through his company Berkshire Hathaway, Buffett remains an icon of long-term investing and fundamental value. His decades of consistency make him a role model for investors around the world.
The list shows that nine out of ten of the world’s richest people come from the technology and investment sectors, reflecting the shift in global wealth towards digital innovation and financial markets. Names like Elon Musk, Larry Page, and Warren Buffett continue to lead the world’s wealth map with their long-term vision and strategic execution.
Will this list change in the near future? With market volatility and the rapid development of technology, it is not impossible that the world’s wealth map will shift again.
