SharpLink Invests $250 Million in Ethereum, Boosting Holdings to Nearly 800,000 ETH

Jakarta, Pintu News – According to Twon Weekly, SharpLink has aggressively increased its Ethereum holdings with a $250 million ETH purchase.

A few days ago, the Minneapolis-based gaming company announced that its total Ethereum (ETH) holdings now stand at 797,704 tokens, which equates to around $3.7 billion based on current market prices.

To date, the company has shown its commitment to becoming one of the largest corporate Ethereum holders.

How SharpLink Funded Its Latest Ethereum Buyout

Based on the information shared, the company funded this expansion through an equity program. Broadly speaking, SharpLink raised approximately $360.9 million through an at-the-market equity program.

Of this amount, the majority was used to purchase Ethereum, while the rest – around $200 million in cash – was set aside for future purchases, signaling that this spending spree will continue.

Previously, SharpLink has expressed its support for Ethereum and implemented an approach aimed at increasing value for shareholders, while strengthening the Ethereum ecosystem as a whole.

Since the company launched its treasury strategy in June, it has managed to raise 1,799 ETH from staking proceeds, solidifying its position as a treasury company.

SharpLink Accumulates 800,000 ETH in 4 Weeks

This massive buying also pushed SharpLink’s Ethereum holdings from a little over 438,000 ETH to nearly 800,000 in just four weeks.

In addition, SharpLink introduced a new metric called “ETH Concentration,” which is used to track the number of holdings per 1,000 diluted shares.

Since the strategy’s launch in June, the metric has more than doubled and now sits above 4.0. This gives shareholders a clearer picture of the extent of the company’s exposure to Ethereum and the value attached to its shares.
