Jakarta, Pintu News – Blockchain company FightFi, through its Fight.ID platform, has officially expanded its partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to develop Web3-based digital products and experiences. The initiative was announced on September 14, 2025, and marks a long-term commitment to connecting fans with athletes through digital assets and on-chain identity.
Fight.ID, previously known through its involvement with UFC Strike (the official digital collection of the UFC), will now launch a new feature that combines crypto asset ownership with a blockchain-based loyalty program. Fight.ID will introduce a blockchain-based identity system that allows fans to have a “digital identity” when interacting with UFC athletes. According to a Bitcoin.com News report, this feature includes token rewards, NFTs, and exclusive crypto-based merchandise access.
Grant Norris-Jones, EVP and Head of Global Partnerships at TKO (UFC’s parent company), said that the UFC has always prioritized innovation. He called this partnership a “big step towards expanding the digital experience for fans around the world.”

To support this expansion, FightFi managed to secure new funding from a number of institutional investors. These investors include Anthos Capital, Aptos Foundation, Aquanow Ventures, Blockchain Coinvestors, and Fabric VC, according to an official release from the Fight.ID team.
In addition, the partnership has also received support from a number of well-known personalities, such as UFC fighters Gilbert Burns, Josh Emmett, and Alexandre Pantoja. Support has also come from celebrities such as Craig Kallman, Baron Davis, and Yat Siu, adding to the ecosystem’s credibility in the eyes of the crypto public and entertainment industry.
