Crypto Analysts See Bullish Run Ahead for Dogecoin After Open Interest Tops $6 Billion

In a recent post on X, crypto expert Trader Tardigrade stated that Dogecoin has confirmed a breakout from a long-term triangle pattern on the weekly chart.

Based on his analysis, this breakout offers a rare risk-reward opportunity of 1:29, which could push the price of DOGE up to $1.70.

Similar views are shared by other market observers. For example, Ali Martinez identified a buy signal for Dogecoin based on the TD Sequential indicator and encouraged traders to “buy when the price drops.”

Meanwhile, the team from Bitcoinsensus mentioned that the launch of the first meme ETF could be the trigger for the next rally. They argue that the listing of this ETF could attract institutional capital into the token.

They also compared the impact to the launch of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs that previously drove their respective markets.

Additionally, veteran trader Peter Brandt described Dogecoin’s rally as a “major breakthrough.” His comments came after DOGE managed to break back through the $0.30 level for the first time in months.

Dogecoin Open Interest Hits $6 Billion

Dogecoin derivatives data shows tremendous growth. According to data from Coinglass, DOGE’s open interest has now surged to over $6 billion-the highest figure since December 2024.
