As of October 8, 2025, the price of BTC stood at $121,690.11, down 1.53% in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, Ethereum briefly reached $5,000 before correcting to $4,465.65, based on CoinMarketCap data. A similar trend was seen in gold, which hit a new record at $4,017 per ounce.
