Jupiter Global Develops Stablecoins for QR Payments, Fiat Transfers, and Card Transactions

Jakarta, Pintu News – Jupiter (JUP) has launched a new suite of on-chain payment services to connect blockchain-based assets with everyday financial needs.

The product, called Jupiter Global, is now available on the Jupiter mobile app and introduces a real-world payment tool that operates directly on top of the blockchain system while integrating with local financial systems.

This launch makes Jupiter one of the first decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms to offer payments via QR codes, fiat transfers, and card usage in a single on-chain interface.

Jupiter Global Introduces On-Chain Payments

Jupiter Global allows users to make real-world payments using stablecoins as their primary balance. The system supports payments via QR codes at various merchants as well as peer-to-peer transactions, with an initial focus on the Asia-Pacific market.

All transactions are processed instantly at no cost to consumers or merchants, utilizing local payment infrastructure.

The QR Pay feature allows users to scan and pay directly from the on-chain balance, without the need to convert funds before use. Jupiter also ensures that the stablecoin remains usable across all supported payment methods in this new Global mode.

Fiat Transfer and Multi-currency Access

In addition to QR payments, Jupiter Global also provides virtual fiat accounts denominated in US dollars, pounds sterling, and euros. These accounts support international transfers via the SWIFT network to over 200 countries, as well as fast local disbursements in over 15 currencies.

The platform also plans to bring local fiat bank transfer services with lower fees, allowing users to move funds between traditional banking systems and on-chain balances more efficiently. Support for multi-chain deposits will also be improved to make it easier for users to move assets in and out of Jupiter Global.

Jupiter Cards and Identity Layers

Jupiter also introduced the Jupiter Card, a premium virtual crypto card that allows users to spend USDC at over 150 million merchants worldwide. The card uses a one-to-one settlement system between USDC and USD, and functions like a crypto-backed credit card instead of a prepaid debit card.

To overcome barriers in the registration process, Jupiter launched Jupiter ID, which allows users to verify their identity once and reuse it across supported services.

Jupiter states that the Global mode operates independently of its proprietary decentralized finance (DeFi) tools, allowing users to switch between DeFi features and regulated payment systems.

According to Jupiter, their 2026 roadmap includes:

• Cash off-ramp feature up to $10,000 per transaction,
• A real cashback program funded from the returns on Jupiter USD balances,
• Direct integration with point-of-sale (POS) payment systems.
