Arthur Hayes Predicts 2022-like Crypto Market Explosion: Here’s How!

According to Arthur Hayes, central banks, particularly in America, will be compelled to increase the amount of money being printed in response to growing economic uncertainty. This policy is expected to trigger price increases in risky assets, including cryptocurrencies.

“The current situation is very similar to what happened in the third quarter of 2022 to early 2025,” Hayes said. Aggressive money printing policies in the past have been shown to push up the price of Bitcoin (BTC) by up to six times.

Hayes also predicts that Bitcoin’s (BTC.D) dominance metric, which measures the percentage of market capitalization held by Bitcoin (BTC), will reach around 70% before it eventually rotates to altcoins. Currently, Bitcoin (BTC) dominance stands at 64.81%. “I think Bitcoin (BTC) dominance will reach about 70%, and Bitcoin (BTC) could reach the $150,000 level,” he added. After that, Hayes predicts that there will be a shift to altcoins that will begin to outperform Bitcoin (BTC).

After Bitcoin’s (BTC) dominance phase, Hayes predicts that altcoins will start to perform better.
