Youssef points to Bitcoin’s (BTC) decline in dominance and the fact that more than 30 altcoins have outperformed Bitcoin (BTC) in the past 90 days as evidence that the peak of the altcoin season has been reached.

Youssef sees potential for established altcoins such as Solana (SOL) and Ripple (XRP) to increase their market value significantly, possibly by a large margin. “The flow of institutional capital into Ethereum (ETH) will extend the summer for altcoins – but the real question is, for how long and which coins will benefit,” Youssef told BeInCrypto.
