WLFI Token is Ready to Launch in September 2025, Here’s the Latest Update!

Token Launch and Distribution Details

On August 22, World Liberty Financial announced that 20% of the pre-sale allocation of WLFI tokens will be available to investors participating in the pre-sale round at $0.015 and $0.05.

Meanwhile, tokens earmarked for the founding team, advisors, and strategic partners will still be locked according to the established vesting schedule. This is the first step in a distribution process that aims to reduce short-term selling pressure and focus on long-term value growth.

WLFI tokens will become tradable and transferable. For the remaining 80% of the pre-sale allocation, WLFI will not release it automatically. Instead, token holders will determine the schedule through a community governance vote. This demonstrates WLFI’s commitment to ensuring that important decisions regarding the future of the token are taken by its community.

Claim Process Through Lockbox

As reported by BeInCrypto, to prepare for distribution, WLFI has developed a wallet feature called Lockbox. According to the company, token holders will have to activate their wallets via Lockbox on the project website before claiming their assets.

Once activated, the balance will be reset to zero and all WLFI will be moved into the Lockbox, a process that is stated to be standard for security. The Lockbox contract has been audited by Web3 security firm Cyfrin, with WLFI emphasizing that only audited code will govern claims.

WLFI has vetted pre-sale wallets for compliance, allowing most investors to connect immediately.

However, the project will restrict only a small number of wallets that fail to meet the requirements. The lockbox will open on August 25, giving participants a week to activate their wallets before trading begins.

Token Sales and Marketing Strategy

WLFI stated that it will list tokens on decentralized exchanges first and add a centralized platform later. The project plans to announce its exchange partners in the coming weeks.

Prior to this change, WLFI holders could only use their tokens to vote in governance matters. By enabling transfers, the project creates a direct market price that will bring the token to a wider retail audience.

New investors who missed the initial round will still have the opportunity to purchase WLFI. By introducing the token to a wider market, WLFI hopes to attract more participation and investment in their ecosystem.
