According to on-chain data, in the past week, “smart money” wallets increased their holdings by 9.29%, or equivalent to an additional approximately 3.78 billion SHIB.

However, the bigger picture looks even more interesting. The top 100 addresses recorded adding another 152.7 billion SHIBs, while the SHIB balance on the exchange actually fell to 1.1 trillion SHIBs.

In total, nearly 1.2 trillion SHIBs worth approximately IDR 258 billion ($15.7 million) moved into the hands of stronger holders, showing that accumulation was not just done by smart money.

With a potential interest rate cut in September and a return of risk appetite, smart investors seem to be taking early positions in Shiba Inu (SHIB). This makes Shiba Inu (SHIB) one of the most desirable altcoins for smart investors today.

The whales also added to their positions by buying 8.74 million UNI. Meanwhile, UNI reserves on the exchange fell by 0.89% or around 5.8 million UNI, signaling an outflow from the exchange.
