On October 7, 2025, Ethereum (ETH) was trading at around $4,684, or approximately IDR 77.67 million, marking a 3.26% increase over the past 24 hours. During this period, ETH hit a daily low of IDR 74.90 million and climbed to a high of IDR 78.69 million.

At the time of writing, Ethereum’s market capitalization stands at roughly IDR 9,359 trillion, while its daily trading volume has edged up by 0.14%, reaching IDR 652.02 trillion in the past 24 hours.

BitMine Strengthens Position as World’s Largest Ethereum Holder

According to an official statement, BitMine has now expanded its Ethereum (ETH) holdings to more than 2.83 million ETH. The total value of the company’s crypto assets and cash reserves now stands at more than $13.4 billion.

BitMine’s crypto portfolio consists of 2,830,151 ETH, 192 Bitcoin, $456 million in cash, as well as a $113 million equity stake in the company Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS).

With this amount, BitMine is now the largest Ethereum holder in the world and the second largest crypto asset owner overall, just behind Strategy Inc. (MSTRX) which controls more than 640,000 BTC with a value of around $79 billion.

Ethereum Price Hike Pushes BitMine Shares up 782%

This announcement comes amid a strong rebound in the price of Ethereum (ETH) which now stands at $4,598, up 1.85% in a day and growing more than 211% in the last six months, according to data from TradingView. Overall, ETH has registered a gain of around 38% since the beginning of the year.

This price increase was driven by increased institutional staking activity and expectations of wider adoption of blockchain technology in the global financial sector. The launch of the first Ethereum staking ETF also accelerated the surge in demand, reinforcing expectations of greater institutional participation in ETH.

Meanwhile, BitMine (BMNR) shares rose 9% to $61.90, as investor interest in the company increased. Overall, BitMine’s share price has risen 631% since the start of the year and surged 782% in the past six months, cementing its position as one of the fastest-growing blockchain-based stocks on Wall Street.

Record Ethereum Inflows Reach $13.7 Billion, BitMine Trading Volume Surges

Recent data from CoinShares shows growing institutional interest in Ethereum.

In its weekly report, CoinShares recorded an inflow of $1.48 billion into Ethereum last week. This pushed the year-to-date inflow total to a new record of $13.7 billion, almost triple last year’s total.

On-chain data also showed that Ethereum’s supply on exchanges continued to decline, signaling many investors are moving their assets to private wallets in anticipation of long-term price stability. Meanwhile, Bitcoin recorded the highest inflow of $3.55 billion in a week, and a total of $27.5 billion since the beginning of the year.

With an average daily trading volume of $2.5 billion, BitMine is now the 28th most actively traded stock in the United States, just below JPMorgan and above Nike in terms of transaction value.
