<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="dokumenidentitas">What identity documents can I use for KYC?</h3>



<p>The document needed depends on your citizenship:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Indonesian citizens (WNI)</strong>: E-KTP only. Passport, driver&#8217;s license, or other ID cards aren&#8217;t accepted.</li>



<li><strong>Foreign citizens (WNA)</strong>: Passport plus KITAS/KITAP, or ID card from your home country.</li>
</ul>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="caraverifikasi">How do I complete account verification (KYC) at Pintu?</h3>



<p>Follow these steps to start account verification:</p>



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Open the Pintu app, then tap <strong>Account → Verify Account</strong>.</li>



<li>Tap <strong>Start Verification</strong>.</li>



<li>Enter your phone number and identity document.</li>



<li>Make sure all data is correct, then submit.</li>
</ol>



<p>You can also start this process from the Pintu or Pintu Pro homepage. The Pintu team verifies your data within 24 hours max.</p>



<p>Once verified, you&#8217;ll unlock full Pintu features: instant crypto trading, fee-free transfers between Pintu users, and Rupiah withdrawals to any Indonesian bank.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="lamawaktu">How long does the KYC process take?</h3>



<p>Verification takes at least 10 minutes and up to 24 hours.</p>



<p>This applies during working hours, daily from 08:00–23:59 WIB.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="appvsweb">Can I do KYC in the Pintu app instead of on web?</h3>



<p>Yes, you can complete KYC through the Pintu app or Pintu Pro Web.</p>



<p>Both methods sync your verification status.</p>

<p>KYC for Pintu Futures is now available on Web.</p>



<p>You can complete verification via the Pintu app or Pintu Pro Web, before accessing futures trading.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="retakefoto">Why am I always asked to retake my KYC photo?</h3>



<p>Besides a clear selfie and ID photo, make sure your input data matches your ID exactly.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="verifikasiulang">I&#8217;ve verified my account but I&#8217;m asked to verify again, what should I do?</h3>



<p>First, make sure the re-verification request isn&#8217;t actually a request to <strong>update your data</strong> — double-check the details of the verification request, since Pintu may genuinely need updated information from you (e.g., an expired ID or other outdated data).</p>

<p>Foreign nationals (WNA) can open an account at Pintu. This guide explains the document requirements, what KITAS/KITAP are, and your options if you don&#8217;t have them yet.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="regis">1. Can Foreign Nationals Register at Pintu?</h3>



<p>Yes, foreign nationals can open a Pintu account. To register or verify your account, you must use:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>A passport</li>



<li>A KITAS or KITAP</li>



<li>An Indonesian bank account</li>
</ul>



<p>These documents are submitted via email to <strong>help@pintu.co.id</strong>. No other proof of identity can be used.</p>



<p>Please note, Pintu only processes Rupiah withdrawals to banks in Indonesia.</p>



<p><strong>Important notes:</strong></p>

<li>Pintu only accepts users who are not U.S. citizens, were not born in the U.S., and do not hold a U.S. green card.</li>



<li>Users must also not transact through accounts or financial institutions in the U.S., have no U.S. tax obligations, and not represent any party with U.S. citizenship.</li>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="kitas">2. What Are KITAS and KITAP?</h3>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>KITAS</strong> (Limited Stay Permit Card) is for foreign nationals who want to stay in Indonesia for a limited period.</li>



<li><strong>KITAP</strong> (Permanent Stay Permit Card) is for foreign nationals who want to stay and settle in Indonesia as residents.</li>
</ul>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="dont">3. What If You Don&#8217;t Have a KITAS/KITAP?</h3>



<p>If you don&#8217;t have a KITAS/KITAP, you can still complete KYC. Attach an <strong>ID card from your home country</strong> along with your <strong>passport</strong> to verify your account at Pintu.</p>
