Additionally, an X user named CrypFlow noted that the TOTAL3 index (total market capitalization without BTC and ETH) is signaling an imminent breakout.

The chart shows a potential uptrend as TOTAL3 has been moving in a parallel channel since the cycle’s low point in 2022.

Every time an altcoin manages to break the downtrend, the price jumps sharply. CrypFlow notes that this has already happened twice in this cycle, in October 2023 and November 2024.

“There’s not much room between the channel and the downtrend anymore. It looks like altcoins will explode in July!” said CrypFlow.

With the current market volatility, many traders emphasize that July is the golden time to act, especially since BitcoinDominance (BTC Dominance/BTC.D) has reached 66.40%.

When BTC dominance reaches this level, capital flows often shift to altcoins, paving the way for an altseason boom.

Strategy is key to capitalizing on this opportunity. Stockmoney Lizards suggests the “Low-IQ” approach: buy when the RSI is below 30, diversify your capital, and take profits of 30-50%. This approach helps avoid the FOMO trap.
