General terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “TC”) PT Pintu Kemana Saja (“PINTU”) are terms and conditions regarding the use of services, products, technology, service features provided by PINTU including but not limited to the use of applications, all associated websites, Application Programming Interface (API), and all related services (collectively called “PINTU Services”). 

Before using PINTU Services, it is recommended that you read carefully the entire contents of this TC as well as other documents mentioned in it. By registering as a user, you declare that you have READ, UNDERSTOOD, COMPREHENDED, OBSERVED, AGREED AND ACCEPTED all terms and conditions contained in this TC which become effective and legally binding.

PINTU can upload changes / replace TC on this page periodically. The revised version will take into effect on the effective date of publication. You are responsible for reviewing this TC from time to time. If you do not agree with the changes / replacements of this TC, you must immediately stop using PINTU Services. PINTU shall not be held liable for your failure to review and agree with the modification and / or replacement of this TC.


  • Website is a service, site, content, or other service provided by PINTU. This website refers to https://www.pintu.co.id which is managed by PINTU, but not limited to owners, investors, employees and parties others related to PINTU.
  • Application is a software that provides services, content, or other features provided by PINTU. This application refers to the PINTU application managed by PINTU, but not limited to owners, investors, employees and other parties related to PINTU
  • Crypto Assets are digital commodities with blockchain technology and are traded on the PINTU application.
  • Blockchain is a system of recording transactions or databases that are widespread in online peer-to-peer networks.
  • PIN is a personal identification number to re-authenticate PINTU application users and / or to confirm activities carried out by users in the PINTU application.
  • OTP (One-Time Password) is a password that can only be used once to verify PINTU application users and / or to confirm activities carried out by users in the PINTU application
  • Users are individuals aged over 17 years old and over who have registered and verified on the PINTU application.
  • Password is an encryption that can protect a PINTU account with an alpha-numeric combination consisting of uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
  • Deposit or Top-up is the process of depositing Rupiah by PINTU users to add Rupiah value to the user’s account.
  • Withdraw is a process of withdrawing Rupiah carried out by PINTU users to withdraw Rupiah from a Pintu account to a verified  private bank.
  • Miner fee is a fee that user has to spend in order to conduct any crypto transaction  through blockchain

Risk Disclosure

Crypto Asset Trading is a risky activity because prices can change significantly over time. PINTU is not responsible for changes in exchange rates of crypto assets, the risk of loss from buying, selling, holding, investing, and trading any crypto assets. It is the user’s responsibility to manage the aforementioned risks. Therefore, users are advised to be careful and measure their financial condition and make sure that each user is ready to face risks before making a decision. All decisions regarding crypto asset trading are conscious and independent decisions of the user and there is no coercion whatsoever.

Registration Process

PINTU users must be over 17 years old. PINTU divides users into two, namely registered users and verified users. The aspects that distinguishes these types of users is as follows:

  1. Registered users only register email, password and mobile number.
  2. Verified users must register their full name, ID / Passport number, photo ID / Passport, selfie photo along with ID / Passport. Verified users can access all features of PINTU namely:
    • Buy and sell Bitcoin and other crypto assets supported by PINTU

    • Deposit and withdraw Rupiah

    • Send and receive Rupiah, Bitcoin, and other crypto assets supported by PINTU.


In connection with the terms and conditions of registration, prospective members declare and guarantee that matters relating to private data / documents / information / statements provided during the registration process on the PINTU application are true, original, complete and actual. Users agree to update their data / documents / information / personal statement if any of the information users provided has changed All matters relating to registration in the form of delivering private data / documents / information / statements will be collected by PINTU and PINTU has the right to verify, maintain confidentiality and use it for the benefit of PINTU in accordance with applicable legal provisions without any obligation for PINTU to notify, request approval, provide compensation for any reason. PINTU will manage and carry out supervision in accordance with procedures determined by PINTU. Registered users / verified users agree and authorize PINTU to use data / documents / information / statements obtained by PINTU.

User Identification

PINTU identifies that the registered account managed by PINTU matches registered and / or verified users. The use of registered and / or verified user accounts is the responsibility of registered and / or verified users registered in the PINTU database. Registered and / or verified users must enter an email and password that has been verified by PINTU upon registration. PINTU application has a system that can refuse to offer its services should the email or password provided be incorrect.

Registered and / or verified users are responsible for the usage of passwords and accounts on PINTU applications and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords, access to email, and matters relating to transactions at PINTU. In the case of unauthorized use of the account and / or other violations, the registered user and / or verified user can send an email to help@pintu.co.id accompanied by supporting evidence.

PINTU is committed to maintain the security of the users’ entrusted funds according to the crypto industry standard. However, any actions of individual users may pose risks and users shall agree to protect credentials (such as user email and password) as confidential information, and not to disclose such information to any third party. Users also agree to be solely responsible for taking the necessary security measures to protect your PINTU Account and personal information.

PINTU shall not be held liable for any losses arising from misuse of accounts and / or passwords either with or without the knowledge of registered and / or verified users. Registered and / or verified users agree to use PINTU services not for criminal acts in any form including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist activities, hacking, gambling and illegal goods purchases. If a registered and / or verified user violates this regulation, PINTU will terminate the service and the registered / verified user must be responsible for losses suffered byPINTU,other users, or other parties. PINTU has the right to close an account and freeze funds, crypto assets, and transactions in it if it finds suspicious activity for an unspecified time.

Security of Personal Information

The confidentiality of your private data / documents / informations / statements is the utmost important matter for PINTU. In accordance with the prevailing laws, PINTU will not share private, personal as well as transaction data / documents / information / statements from any access, collection, usage or disclosure to any third parties and from any process that is contradicting with the prevailing laws, and protect users from any losses, destruction or damages or any other similar risks.

Changes / Updates to User Data

Registered and / or verified users can only make changes and data updates by sending an email request to change user data to help@pintu.co.id , unless the data change option is already available via the form on the PINTU website / application. PINTU will verify data and confirm to users through data that has been given previously to avoid fraud. Users can also make changes to names only for reasons that are allowed by the PINTU, i.e. errors in spelling names.

Change Password and PIN

The user can reset the password by asking to get a link on the registered email so that he can enter a new password. The user can reset the PIN by entering the old PIN accompanied by entering a new PIN in the application. We cannot manually change or reset user passwords or PINs for the security of all our users.

Crypto Asset Transactions on Blockchain Network

Registered and / or verified users understand and agree that every transaction  including sending crypto from PINTU to the blockchain network  made is final, irrevocable. PINTU is not responsible for any losses including but not limited to losses arising from delays or omissions such as wrong destination address in the transaction process. 

Registered and / or verified users understand and agree that when users or a third party sends crypto assets to PINTU wallet from an external crypto wallet is not hosted by PINTU, the person initiating the transaction is solely responsible for executing the transaction properly, which may include, among other things, payment of miner’s fees in order for the transaction to be successful and the accuracy of PINTU wallet address. Non-payment of miner fees may cause your transaction to remain in a pending state outside of PINTU’s control and the lack of accuracy concerning PINTU address might result in the loss of your assets. PINTU is not responsible for delays or losses incurred as a result of an error in the initiation of the transaction and has no obligation to assist in the remediation of such transactions. 

Once submitted to a blockchain network, a crypto asset transaction will be unconfirmed for a period of time pending sufficient confirmation of the transaction by the blockchain network. Crypto assets associated with blockchain transactions that are in a pending state will not yet be included in your PINTU Wallet balance. Thus, users will not yet be able to conduct crypto asset transactions of the respective token until it is fully confirmed by the blockchain network.

Transaction Fees and Exchange Rate

Administration fees for deposits are not charged to the user. Administrative fees for withdrawals and bank transfer fees if needed are paid through direct deductions from withdrawal transactions. Delivery of crypto assets to fellow PINTU wallets is Rp. 0, – (FREE). The cost of sending crypto assets out of the PINTU wallet will be charged based on the mining fee / gas price used and the exchange rate if there is a conversion at that time. Pintu has the right to change administration or transaction fees at any time without the latest updates on this page. Users shall acknowledge that the Buy Price Exchange Rate may not be the same as the Sell Price Exchange Rate at any given time. Users agree to accept the Exchange Rate when users have authorised a transaction. PINTU does not guarantee the availability of any Exchange Rate and price is purely driven by the market. PINTU does not guarantee that you will be able to buy and / or sell your Digital Currency on the open market at any particular price or time. Users are advised to check the PINTU application directly to know the latest administration or transaction fees.


Monitoring, Suspension and Termination of Pintu Account

PINTU has the authority to monitor account activities and transactions of registered and / or verified users as a precautionary measure for financial crimes. Users shall authorize PINTU to temporary freeze the account for a maximum of 3×24 hours on Business Days in order to implement make an inquiries, either directly or through third parties, that PINTU considers necessary to verify users identity, transactions, and activities to protect users and / or PINTU against fraud or another form of crimes, and to take action deemed necessary based on the results of such inquiries. When PINTU carries out these inquiries, users acknowledge and agree that user’s personal information may be disclosed but not limited to government regulatory agencies or professional consultants such as auditors or lawyers. These third parties may respond to our inquiries in full. This activity is purely an identity check and should have no adverse effect on users.

PINTU has the right to immediately suspend a user’s account and any accounts that potentially are related to the user’s suspicious activities, postpone and /or reject transactions, and freeze crypto assets in all such accounts for further investigation. If PINTU suspects or confirms that the user, whether individually or within a group, manipulated or abused, or attempted to manipulate or abuse, and/or otherwise acted in bad faith towards PINTU or any of its services or promotion, PINTU has the full right to (i) temporarily or permanently block, suspend or terminate the user’s account; (ii) remove or deduct any profits gained by the user (iii) remove or deduct any reward, whether have or have not been granted to the user; and (iv) deny, withhold or withdraw any promotion from the user. 

Suspicious activities shall be defined as any activities believed to violate PINTU TC or any applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation the market and price manipulation, fraud, and criminal act that will and / or has been committed. PINTU fully abides by the applicable Laws on the Eradication of Corruption, Money Laundering Laws, and Terrorism Financing Laws. Therefore, PINTU shall ensure the proper law enforcement for any suspicious activities. Market and price manipulation shall be defined as any act of intentional conduct in bad faith, including any attempt thereto, designed to deceive or defraud PINTU, traders, exchangers, investors or any party within the crypto asset ecosystem by artificially creating, affecting or mislead the trade, market condition, or price of a certain crypto asset.

Remaining Funds, Crypto Asset, and Information After PINTU Account Termination

Should the user’s PINTU account be terminated due to the indication of fraud, violation of TC, and violation of law, any remaining account balance may be reviewed first and may be payable immediately to PINTU for any possible damages and liabilities caused by the respective user’s misconducts. Upon payment of all outstanding charges to PINTU (if applicable), PINTU users shall have 7 (seven) business days to withdraw all funds and / or crypto assets from PINTU account. 

On the other hand, PINTU may hold full custody of the user’s PINTU account information, funds, and  crypto assets that may be turned over to the authorities for further investigations pertaining to fraud, violation of TC, and violation of law. 


By using PINTU services, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless PINTU, its directors, employees, and affiliates (collectively referred as PINTU Parties) from any lawsuit, claim, action, proceeding, investigation, demand, cost or expense, including without limitation fines or penalties and attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:

  1. User’s misuse of or misconduct in connection with PINTU services
  2. User’s fraud, violation of PINTU TC, and / or violation of law
  3. User’s failure to secure his/her PINTU account information and security credentials
  4. User’s source of funds or crypto asset stored and managed by the user within PINTU services

PINTU, to the best of its knowledge and ability, will always ensure that robust precautionary measures are in place to prevent such misconducts and violations within its PINTU services. However, in the event that misconducts and violations happen, this PINTU TC will prevail and PINTU Parties will be indemnified and held harmless.

Force majeure

Force majeure is any event or event that is out of power / ability, cannot be avoided and occurs not because of an error / negligence, including but not limited to natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, storms, hurricanes, hurricanes, floods , landslides, volcanic eruptions, other natural disasters, wars, demonstrations, riots, terrorism, sabotage, embargoes, mass strikes, pandemic and government regulations and legislation especially in the economic and monetary fields that can disrupt the continuity of the PINTU business.

PINTU will carry out all obligations in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Indonesian government related to force majeure and cannot provide compensation and / or liability in any form to either registered / verified members or any other party for risks that may arise due to force majeure.


PINTU provides communication services in an electronic format which is considered a written format, registered / verified users agree to all terms and conditions, privacy policy, agreements, notices and disclosures. Registered / verified users agree to receive e-mail notifications about accounts, transactions, promotions, etc.


This TC is made bilingual in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both versions have similar binding effect between you and PINTU. If there is any discrepancy between the Bahasa Indonesia version and English version, the Bahasa Indonesia version shall prevail.

This TC is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the exclusive jurisdiction of Central Jakarta District Court.
