These 3 Memecoins Skyrocketed in Early July 2025 — You Won’t Believe the Gains!

Jakarta, Pintu News – As we enter the first week of July 2025, market uncertainty is still high, but this hasn’t stopped a number of altcoins from posting surprising gains.

Interestingly, many of these top performers are not utility-driven tokens, but rather meme coins.

Pudgy Penguins (PENGU), Bonk (BONK), and Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) all experienced a surge despite hesitation in the broader market.

Here’s a closer look at how these tokens were able to outperform their competitors and what might happen to their prices next.

Pudgy Penguins (PENGU)

PENGU emerged as the best performing altcoin this week, surging 68.9% in the last seven days and trading at $0.016.

Despite the significant rally, the token is still down 76.5% from its all-time high. However, this has not discouraged large holders from increasing their holdings.

According to analysis from the CCN website, consistent buying from crypto whales played a key role in PENGU’s recent price surge.

Data from Glassnode shows an increase in the number of wallets holding more than 10,000 PENGU tokens since June 23, confirming large-scale accumulation.

This buying pressure helped PENGU outperform all other tokens in the top 100 this week.

If this momentum holds, the next price target is likely to be at the $0.020 resistance level. Technically, the token has broken out of a falling channel pattern on the 4-hour chart, which is often considered a bullish signal.

Additional confirmation also comes from on-chain indicators such as the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) and Awesome Oscillator (AO), both of which are still in the positive zone. If these indicators remain green, there is potential for a rally towards $0.025.

However, not everything is smooth sailing. If bearish pressure causes a drop below the lower trendline of the channel, PENGU could experience a sharp correction, even risking a drop back to $0.0067.

Bonk (BONK)

Solana (SOL)-based meme coin BONK is also among the best-performing altcoins this week. The price of BONK has risen in the last seven days due to increased selling pressure which has triggered buying interest.

Like PENGU, BONK also broke out of a falling channel pattern, but this time on the daily chart.

On July 6, the meme coin was briefly trading at $0.000017. However, the current position of the Bull Bear Power (BBP) indicator suggests that the token could potentially break the overhead resistance level at $0.000020.

If this scenario occurs, the next target for BONK could be $0.000028, which is at a golden pocket ratio of 0.618.

However, if the buying pressure weakens and the pressure from the bears re-emerges, the potential could be canceled, and the price of BONK might drop below $0.000010.

Fartcoin (FARTCOIN)

After dropping below $0.90 two weeks ago, FARTCOIN has reaffirmed its position as one of the highest rising altcoins.

This week, the Solana-basedecoin rose by 18.94% and on July 6 was around $1.17.

In this move, the price of FARTCOIN has broken above the 20-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) on the daily chart. The rise above the 20 EMA (blue line) indicates strong support for the token.

In addition, the Awesome Oscillator (AO) indicator has also shifted to positive territory. If this trend continues, the price of FARTCOIN could potentially go up to $1.65.

However, if selling pressure increases, the price of FARTCOIN could drop back down to the $0.85 level.
