1. Bitcoin ETF Records Inflow of IDR16.3 Trillion in a Week

According to a Bitcoin.com News report (Emmanuel Musa, October 3, 2025), Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded inflows worth $985 million or around IDR 16.3 trillion in one trading day (conversion of 1 USD = IDR 16,597). This marks the fifth consecutive day without any outflows from Bitcoin ETFs.

ETFs owned by BlackRock (IBIT) were the biggest contributor with inflows of $791.55 million, followed by Fidelity (FBTC) with $69.85 million, and ARK 21Shares (ARKB) with $35.48 million. ETFs from VanEck (HODL) and Bitwise (BITB) recorded $26.04 million and $24.03 million, respectively.

2. New Record: Total Assets of Bitcoin ETFs Touch Rp2,727 Trillion

Total net assets for all Bitcoin ETFs now stand at $164.5 billion or around Rp2,727 trillion. The trading volume of Bitcoin ETFs also surged to the highest level so far this year, at $7.52 billion (Rp124.8 trillion) in a day.

According to analysts at Sosovalue, the five-day winning streak signals “institutional conviction” or high confidence of large investors in Bitcoin’s potential in the fourth quarter of 2025. This phenomenon also reinforces the view that Bitcoin is now seen as a major alternative asset to gold and sovereign bonds.

3. Ethereum ETF also shines: Added IDR3.88 Trillion in a Day

Not only Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH) also recorded an impressive performance with a daily inflow of $234 million (Rp3.88 trillion) on the same day. BlackRock ‘s Ethereum ETF (ETHA) led the way with $206.71 million, followed by Grayscale Ether Mini Trust with $17.88 million and Fidelity FETH with $5.65 million.

In total, the net assets of ETH ETFs reached $30.57 billion (IDR 507 trillion) with a daily trading volume of around $2.28 billion (IDR 37.8 trillion). According to a report by Bitcoin.com, this is the first week in 2025 where all ETH ETFs experienced zero outflow days, signaling strong momentum in the institutional altcoin sector.

4. Institutional Factors and Market Sentiment are the Catalysts

The consistency of inflows for five consecutive days confirms that institutional demand for cryptocurrencies is on the rise. Analysts from the Bloomberg Crypto Index assess that the strengthening of this ETF is in line with expectations that the Federal Reserve will hold interest rates, so large funds are returning to high-risk assets such as crypto and technology stocks.
