However, data shows a surge in Solana ETF inflows for the 11th consecutive day, totaling $351 million since launch through Bitwise BSOL and Grayscale GSOL funds.

AB analyst Kuai Dong highlighted this paradox on X (Twitter), noting that Solana ETF inflows are expanding faster than SOL price declines.

“Good news: SOL ETFs are experiencing inflows every day. Bad news: The momentum of the inflows is faster than the decline in SOL. Soon, several spot ETFs for XRP and DOGE will also be available-does this mean they will simply end after launch?” he said.

NYSE Officially Launches Solana ETF Trading

Adding to the institutional bullish narrative, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) officially launched options trading for Solana ETFs, a first for this ecosystem.

Listing for $GSOL and $BSOL opens up opportunities for risk management, yield strategies, and price discovery tools that were previously only available in traditional markets. Teddy Fusaro, President of Bitwise, called this achievement remarkable, with the institutional-level benefits that come with the ETF option.

“Options are now available on America’s largest Solana ETF, BSOL. This is amazing. An institutional tool for risk management, yield enhancement and efficient price discovery that is critical at scale,” writes Fusaro.

This evolution positions Solana as a financial asset with a mature derivatives market, a development generally seen before major institutional adoption cycles.

Speculation Rises Around XRP and DOGE as ETFs Show Solana Strength

Although the Bitcoin (BTC) ETF led the market with net inflows of $524 million on November 11, led by BlackRock’s IBIT, and the Ethereum (ETH) ETF saw outflows of $107 million for the third consecutive day, the Solana ETF market stood out with daily inflows of $8 million, continuing a record 11 consecutive days.

This trend shows institutional diversification beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum, with large investors and funds staking and accumulating Solana for yield and long-term positions. This could signal the early stages of institutional adoption of Solana.

Momentum from the success of the Solana ETF has fueled speculation that XRP (XRP) and Dogecoin (DOGE) ETFs may soon follow suit. Steven McClurg, CEO of Canary Capital, told Paul Barron Channel that an XRP ETF would likely double Solana’s performance.

He cited the token’s global liquidity, clearer regulation, and its usefulness in payments as key drivers for institutions.

Despite Solana’s recent price drop, its fundamentals and institutional appeal remain strong. ETF inflows, options trading on the NYSE, and accumulation by whales suggest that smart money is positioning itself for long-term exposure, despite retail sentiment starting to cool.
