Jakarta, Pintu News – On December 9, 2025, Pintu News published an article titled “Pi Network Faces $10 Million Fraud Lawsuit, While Community Pushes Back Against Allegation”, which contained specific inaccuracies in terminology and data that required clarification. To prevent further misunderstanding, we have taken down the original article from our platform.
The points requiring clarification are as follows:
The article stated that an investor from Arizona had filed a lawsuit on October 24 against Pi Network and SocialChain Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Upon further review, we found that the term “investor” was incorrectly used. The individual is a Pi Network user, not an investor.
The article originally included the following statement:
“This action is believed to have caused the token’s value to drop from $307.49 to around $1.67, affecting millions of users across 190 countries.”
Historical data from CoinGecko confirms that Pi’s price has never exceeded $3 since it began trading officially. Therefore, the $307.49 valuation mentioned in the report does not reflect the official price of Pi.
Pintu News apologizes for these issues and any confusion they may have caused. We remain committed to providing accurate, verified, and responsible reporting for our readers.
