2026, a Hopeful Year for Solana: Predictions and Challenges

Bitwise, an asset manager, predicts that Solana (SOL) will reach a new record high in 2026. They remain bullish on Solana and Ethereum (ETH) as they see stablecoins and tokenization as megatrends. If the Clarity Act is passed, these two platforms are expected to be the biggest beneficiaries of the growth. On the other hand, Galaxy Research predicts that Solana’s total Internet Capital Markets market capitalization will increase to $2 billion from the current $750 million.

Galaxy also predicts that no Solana inflation reduction proposal will be approved in 2026, and the existing proposal, SIMD-0411, will be withdrawn without a vote. In addition, they predict the launch of more than 50 spot altcoin ETFs and another 50 crypto ETFs in the US, following the SEC’s approval of a generic listing standard.
