Can I change my phone number used to receive OTP?
To update your phone number, follow these steps:
- Open the Pintu App, go to your Account page, and tap Request Change below your registered phone number.
Note: If you cannot Log In, this option is also available on the OTP verification page. - A form will appear. Enter your new phone number, the reason for the change, and upload the required supporting documents.
- Take a selfie while holding the ID used during your account verification (the ID must be clearly visible and not cover your face). Tap Continue, or Retake if you want to redo the selfie.
- Your request will be processed within 2 business days.
- Once completed, you will receive an update via email and an in-app notification.
Additional notes:
- If you are relocating to another country, make sure your new phone number matches your destination country.
- If you lost access to your old number, you must attach a police report regarding the loss.
- If you submitted a number change request within the last 6–12 months, your new request may not be eligible.
