How Do I Change My Phone Number on Pintu?
To change your registered phone number, follow the steps below:
- Open the Pintu App, go to the Account page, then tap Request Change below your registered phone number.
- Fill in the form that appears: your new number, the reason for the change, and upload supporting documents.
- Take a selfie while holding the ID you used during account verification. Make sure the ID is clearly visible and doesn’t cover your face. Tap Continue, or Retake if you want to redo the selfie.
- Your request will be processed within 2 business days.
- Once complete, you’ll receive a notification via email and in the Pintu App.
If you can’t log in, follow these steps:
- Select Sign in with Google.
- Choose your registered Google account.
- Tap the Need help? menu at the bottom.
- Select Lost or Changed Number.
- Enter the requested details, then select Submit Request.
- The Pintu team will then process your number change request.
Additional notes:
- If you move to another country, make sure your new number matches the destination country.
- If you lose access to your old number, you must attach a police loss report.
- If you’ve requested a number change within the last 6–12 months, a new request may not be processable.
